This was another Nymb release that was super difficult to track down. Yes – it is my folly that now (a great many years after seeing them live) I’m trying to get their full discography into the Culture Of None library.
‘The Glass Eye’ ep was actually the title that got me involved in the whole SwapaCD.com phenom a few weeks ago. After seeing this disc for $15 on eBay once, and then occasionally in the $9 to $50 price range on Amazon, a Swap A CD membership was the only option.
As a fan, I refused to be price-gouged for a 3 song ep, particularly since “Aluminum Origami” had already been circulating the web as an mp3 preview track. And you shouldn’t be gouged either.
Definitely buy this one if you find it; especially the vinyl pressing. Until then, here’s more Nymb greatness:
